System to recognize defects on plastic bottles

For an important company we have created a vision system for counting, measuring and quality control of freshly molded plastic bottles.

Through several cameras, the system can recognize non-compliant bottles in terms of shape, size and color by inspecting both the lateral surface and neck of the bottles. .

The supplied software allows the user to autonomously create the recipes containing the various checks to be performed. If, during the inspection, one of the controls detects an anomaly, the bottle is rejected through special air jets.
