3D scanner for scanning and reconstructing a pantograph

Disys is a key partner of Alstom Transport

In collaboration with Alstom Transport, leader in the railway sector, a complex system was created to be able to acquire three-dimensional information from train pantographs.

Particularly, a special 3D scanner has been created capable of acquiring the scan of the pantographs and from the acquired data our algorithm creates their virtual reconstruction.

Thanks to the reconstructions, which makes it possible to detect and locate possible defects, evaluates the degree of deterioration of the pantograph and defines the need for replacement.
